Route map and information:
The 1 Mile fun run is an out and back route. Starting from the main Penrhos Nature Reserve car park, the route goes along the concrete path, right through the wooden gate into the forest, right past the pet cemetery, left and continues straight until the turnaround point at approximately ½ a mile. There will be two marshals visible on route and located at point A and B as shown on the map below. The route for 1 mile fun run is marked in RED dashes.
4.1 Mile trail race
The race will start on the concrete path from the main car park at the Penrhos Nature Reserve. This is an out and back route along the Anglesey Coastal Path, with 6 marshal points A,B,C,D,E and F as shown on the map below. The route for the 4.1 mile trail race is marked in YELLOW dashes.
4.1 Mile Canicross
The majority of the Canicross route will follow the same route as the main 4.1 trail race, however the first 260 meters will be run on grass parallel to the main running field in order to prevent congestion before entering the forest – see the BLUE dashes on map below. Once you have entered the forest through the wooden gate, you will then continue the race on the same route as the main running field (route marked in YELLOW dashes on map below).
